Capturing quote: “He put the phone away and pondered what his Match might look like, before deciding it was I appropriate to be thinking about a second woman while he was still in the company of the first.
He rose to his feet and returned to the kitchen to find her where he’d left her minutes earlier, lying on her back on the cold, slate floor, the garrotte still embedded in her neck.”
This book was SOOOO GOOD! My favourite book of the year so far, along side Passengers of course. The plot was very intriguing, I absolute love the aspect of realistic plots and this plot is very realistic in our day and age. Super interesting and definitely a page turner.
The story starts and introduces us to six characters, which at first is a little confusing, but you soon come to know each one and their individual stories. The book has one main story but follows the very different lives of six characters, creating six stories from one main one which keeps it so interesting. I found my self finishing a chapter and wanting to continue that specific story so I was flying through the book. There was a twist and gasp on every page and I loved it!
The pace of the story was very fast, the chapters were short and sharp and made for a fast read.
Overall I absolutely loved this book and John Marrs has become one of my instant buy authors 🚀
